I put my system together a few months ago, and after a month of crashes, reboots, partial recordings, s-l-o-w channel changes and a very low WAF, I bought a geforce4 mx440 with tv-out. The tv-out quality is *almost* as good, and now my system is rock-solid. I'm using the 350 for capture only right now.

I'm curious; what are some of the problems you'd been having? I've got
a PVR-350 and it performs really well, but I seem to have a problem with
stability when I do *some* things. The problem is, I'm not exactly sure what
they are. :-) I *think* I have a problem when the system tries to access
the stream before it's finished. It seems as though when I try to view a
program that's currently being recorded OR I try to delete it, it can
lock up and require a reboot. If i don't touch anything interesting while
it's recording, it'll stay up just fine.

Sound familiar to anyone?

Dave
