DVB newbie here!

Having some problems getting tuning to behave on my budget DVB-S
card. Certainly the frequencies listed on various sat pages seem to
have no bearing on those provided to dvbtune or to Myth.

So, I have some questions:

- - Does the sat configuration part of the card setup influence how the
frequency provided to the channel is interpreted?
- - If it does, does anyone have "typical" values for common installed Sky
NZ equipment?

This is with MythTV 0.14.

Thanks :)

[PS: feel free to contact me off-list if a long discussion of my broken
DVB-S understanding is warranted :) Esp would be interested to hear from
anyone else sourcing stuff from Optus B1 in NZ!]
