I have just set up a DVR on a 533Mhz VIA card (i586 clone) with the PVR350
and found to be a very workable solution.  With a raw copy of the MPEG in
stream to the MPEG out stream (dd if=/dev/video0 of=/dev/video16 bs=64k)
I noticed a idle time in access of 96%.

I'm still setting up the system, and using the MythTV the CPU load was
higher but then it is doing more than just copying data :-)
