[mythtv-users] Need help installing DVDR drive. MythDVD can't seeit. HELP!

More than likely, the new DVD drive is being seen as /dev/cdrom1. Simply
make a simlink from /dev/cdrom1 to /dev/dvd and you should be in business.

ln -s /dev/cdrom1 /dev/dvd

Did I get that one right, guys?

I have NEC ND-2500 DVD-/+R. I had regular DVD drive before and I removed 
it and replaced it with this new drive. Unfortunately I can't even watch 
any DVDs with it or reord any DVDRs.
/mnt/cdrom is there and does show audio/video folders, but MPlayer can't 
access /dev/dvd

I have Fedora done following that popular how-to.
