I've a similar problem, see here:

but only at TV functions, mythmusic and mythvideo (which uses mplayer 
native with alsa)
are working flawless.

I didn't wrote this in my first mail to the list, but I'm using S/PDIF 
too, maybee that's the problem...
I need to try regular analog output...
