[mythtv-users] How to Remove Buttons from frontend menus?

      In general how one can remove the buttons created by myth add-on modules?  
      I'd like to remove the buttons created by mythvideo, but I do want to keep MythDVD which requires MythVideo. 
      I could just change mainmenu.xml, but this seems to be a ugly solution since all addon modules are included in the mainmenu.xml before any one of them is installed.
