[mythtv-users] Need advice: NYC = Scrambled Analog?

Wouldn't the simple thing here be for the original poster to just
connect the cable directly to a cable ready TV and see what he can
receive? If it is scrambled then he wont get anything, if it isn't
scrambled then he will.

Maybe not "most" buy quite a few do scramble just about everything. In
St.
Paul, you need a cable box for even basic cable, because almost all the
channels are scrambled.
