[mythtv-users] Problem with database, cannot witch live tv

If you try and take mythtv out of the loop, what happens if you use the 
command line and set it up with ptune.pl and
"cat /dev/video0 > /tmp/my.mpg"
using the -F/--frequency option and with the -c/--channel option? Does 
that work? If it does, then this isn't much help, but if it doesn't, 
then that is the place to start - you need to get ivtv working first, 
before attempting to get mythtv working, as I'm sure you are aware 
already...

BTW, my ~/.ivtv contains:
myth at peter:~/work/ivtv/utils> cat ~/.ivtvrc

Sorry if that isn't much help...

Otherwise, if ivtv stuff above *works* you may want to try comparing my 
settings to yours. I made the file with:
mysqldump mythconverg settings > settings.db

I'm not sure what to do if ivtv's ptune.pl works, but MythTV doesn't, 
and our settings are comparable...
