I had done that already. Sorry for not posting much info first time around
but I was dead tired last night. I patched my kernel with his patch and
recompiled my kernel and modules. I was still not able to compile
lirc-0.7.0pre4 but from a tip on their mailing list I changed into the
daemons and tools directories in their source and did a "make" and "make
install" in there. That worked and I didn't get any errors. I then
recompiled myth with native lirc support. I don't get any errors inserting
lirc_dev or lirc_i2c or starting up /usr/local/sbin/lircd. No errors
starting up mythbackend or mythfrontend. Remote just doesn't work. I had
it working fine on 2.4.24 and Mandrake 9.2 so I know the hardware's good.

I'm actually having a lot of other problems besides the remote on Drake 10
with the 2.6 kernel. I may end up just going back to 9.2 with 2.4.24.

Thanks
Malcolm
