and install -- irw and keyboard work --- changing channel
takes longer

I have exactly the same problem as Mike had before:: remote worked great when I followed Jarod's guide.
Now after we downloaded the myth-0.14 source and compiled it, the Remote didn't work anymore and everything else is working: irw and keyword work. Yes, I did uncomment the settings.pro to enable native lirc support before I compiled and did "make distclean; make ; su; make install"
Another problem from the result of compilation is that changing Channel takes about 2.5-4 seconds, but it was almost 0 second before the compilation.
Any ideas here?
Thanks a lot!

Mike, sounds silly, but did you uncomment the lines in settings.pro to
enable native lirc support before you compiled?

Subject: [mythtv-users] Remote stopped working after CVS build and install
-irw and keyboard work
Hello,
I decided to take the plunge and build from the sources. I built from the
latest CVS and replaced my binary distribution and everything looks great
except my remote doesn't work. Irw works and I can use the keyboard. I don't
see any errors in the frontend output.
I searched the archive and there are tons of lircd issues, but I didn't
find one that matched my problem. I'd appreciate it if someone would help me
out before my wife loses patience from using the keyboard! :)
Thanks,
Mike
