[mythtv-users] HDTV with Comcast

Video4Linux doesn't support Firewire?  If it does, wouldn't it be trivial to
get it working in MythTV?

Yes, there *is* that possibility, but someone has to write support for it
into
MythTV still... So I repeat, you aren't going to get HD off Comcast into
MythTV anytime soon.
