[mythtv-users] irxevent on startup

Two possibilities,  give the full path to the command and if that doesn't work
redirect the stdout & stderr to log files to see if there is anything there
that may help.  Maybe it's trying to tell you why it won't work you just can't
see it.

Ex. (on my system)
/usr/local/bin/irxevent 1>/var/log/irxevent.out 2>/var/log/irxevent.err
