I'll probably go with an Adaptec, simply because I want to keep this PC 
cheap. The 3ware cards look nice, but they start at $130, and I'd 
rather pay less than $60.

I have a support e-mail in to Adaptec about their cards and warranties 
regarding Linux, If I hear good things back, I'll probably go with one 
of their low-end cards.

Thanks for all the input. You all are a great resource for newbies like 
me.
