Mar 14 14:50:31 localhost modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-service-1-0
Mar 14 14:50:31 localhost modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-slot-1
Mar 14 14:50:31 localhost modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-service-1-0

could this be related....to the problem??

Subject: [mythtv-users] mythfrontend not finding dev/video0..but cat does???

ok this is gettting frustrating..move past one problem..to hit another..

when attempting to goto tv in the mythfrontend I'm getting the following...

error reading from: /dev/video0
read: Input/output error
error reading from: /dev/video0
read: Input/output error
error reading from: /dev/video0
read: Input/output error
error reading from: /dev/video0
read: Input/output error

what I don't get is before launching the frontend, doing
cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg
works just fine....if I do it before launching the frontend..
I can't do the cat after the frontend attempts to use /dev/video0..

(of course this error is actaully produced by the backend....not the actual frontend)

thoughts??
