Thanks for all the feedback.  That's good to know then that
I should be safe...

One last question (and I know it might not be the right
forum, but I'll ask anyways):

Has the "issue" with the PVR-350 and EPG been resolved? 
i.e. if I follow Jarod's guide, will I run into any issues
with the PVR-350 - or is it pretty stable now?
(Sorry if this has been covered to death - I just want to
be really sure about my purchase.)
