[mythtv-users] What's purpose of oldprogram table?

OK, I've mistaken oldrecorded and oldprogram.  Either way, I have
a feeling that it is still used in some Scheduling logic.

So?  Then write a script that purges all or some of them periodically.
I'm fairly certain doing this will not affect MythTV too much.
