I have and continue to experience, both number 1 and 2.
Usually number 1 occurs when I'm watching a recording thats currently in
progress. After a little bit I usually get kicked back to the play
recording menu, and unfortunately usually my recording has stopped. I
believe this has been discussed before and is an ivtv issue.
Thankfully I can ssh into my comp to kill X when number 2 occurs.
