Hi,

You should follow the lirc mailing list. There was a bug in the release of
lirc 7.0pre3 that caused the hauppauge remote to not work; this bug has
been fixed in the latest cvs.

If you dont want to build from cvs, axel may be able to rebuild packages
with the fix included, but i would not expect that to happen for a couple
of days.
