I have never claimed my code could "beat" mysql.

If people want to try and speed things up, that's great. Every few
months someone posts something to the effect that "music and playlist
loading should be faster" and that's more or less the end of it.

Good place to start, building a map between id's and metadata objects
and getting rid of the iteration in CheckTrack() in the playlist
object.

I look forward, as I always do, to patches ....

> Now you are talking about generation of new playlists?

No, I'm talking about playlists within playlists. Any playlist can have
any other playlist on it's list. It's a very useful feature.

	Nope.

	Nope.

	Nope.

I'm in the middle of one (to do client server stuff across the LAN), as
is Isaac (to make the menu system more powerful and flexible).
