[mythtv-users] problems with Myth Music 2 boxes

Hello everyone,

I have built 2 boxes one has a cd/dvd burner installed and the other has
only a DVD/CD drive installed.  Both are having issues with mythmusic.
Both are recent builds using Apt-get from Jerod's instructions.  They
are both FC1 and running .15.1 myth.

The first box with the cd/dvd burner is returning there error /dev/sdc0
can't be accessed because another application has a lock on it.  But I
am able to play DVD's, Rip DVD's, Rip CD's.  I can play the movies after
ripping, but can't play the music that has been ripped.  Basically the
interface seems to go into an infinite loop when I try.

The second box with the DVD/CD drive has an exclusive issue as well, but
with CD and can rip cd/dvd's as well.. and has the infinite loop problem
as well.  

Now on both I deleted the Autostart from the Desktop directory on both
machines, but KsCD keeps popping up on both when I load a CD into the
drive.  I do have the autoscan turned on in Myth so that I can get it
loaded automatically in the correct plugins, but that doesn't seem to be
functioning properly.  I also have ALSA installed, and was told in the
MythUser IRC channel that mythmusic now only uses OSS.  The individual
said that I needed to uninstall ALSA and install OSS in order for
mythmusic to work.  Now after some research I found out that ALSA has an
OSS emulation layer.  Can someone please help me?
