Probably true, but try a Radeon 9200SE. I switched from my on-board nForce2 TV-out
to such a card, and the difference in picture quality is simply
amazing. And the card was dirt cheap. Much less than you will pay
for any decent RGB-PAL converter.

Now if only ATI would publish the details of the on on-chip MPEG-2
decoding my life would be complete :-)
