[mythtv-users] sound disappears in few days, FC1, ivtv, atrpms, manual kernel & mythtv compile fails

Why exactly are you trying to recompile lirc? Just use Axel's, coupled with 
apt-get install lirc-devel. Your problems compiling lirc are probably because 
you don't have the required patches. If you still want to compile it, look at 
Axel's spec file to see what patches are required to make it work with his 
kernels.
