[mythtv-users] Recommended card for surround sound?

I'm preparing to build a mythtv box that will be used primarily for high quality audio playback and watching DVD's. I want a sound card that has good surround sound support in linux (at least dolby 5.1 but preferably 7.1). 

I'm looking at the SB audigy v1 or v2 but can't find much information on it's surround sound support in linux. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!
