Someone has...its called google :) Seriously, I cannot see the problem 
with the 'external' wiki's/forum's. It's everyone's choice and 
prerogative to use them or not. Google will make sure you can always 
find the answer no matter where its posted, ML,website,wiki, or forum 
*shrugs*
