[mythtv-users] atrpms failed dependencies

  Just tried to reinstall mythtv on fedora core 1
 The new rpms at atrpms.net seem to fail with dependency problems
they need rpm 4.3 or above ,
Is it time to switch to  fedora core 2 to install mythtv?
will this solve the dependency problems?
Or is ther a repository of older atrpm packages?

looking for ease of installation because I am lazy
and trying to follow Jarods fc1 guide
