Hi,
I'm having some trouble getting my Tv-out configured properly; I'm using Red
Hat and following Jarod's instructions (Thanks Jarod!). I believe I have
follow his instructions and I get the new drivers 'assembled' in my kernel
(nvidia-graphics4363). I then make the appropriate changes in my XF86Config
file and when I reboot I do not get any video signal on the TV (s-video out
to an AV switch, then RCA from Video Switch to TV) nor do I get any video on
the monitor. I shell into box, reset original config file and I'm back up
and running. My XF86Config file is attached and modified to the point where
I still get video signal.
When I add the follow lines to the 'Monitor' section, I get the no signal
reaction. I also do not see the Nvidia logo:
Option "TV" "yes"
Option "TwinView"
Option "SecondMonitorHorizSync" "30.0-50.0"
Option "SecondMonitorVertRefresh" "60.0"
Option "TwinViewOrientation" "Clone"
#Option "TwinViewOrientation" "LeftOf"
Option "MetaModes" "1024x768,1024x768"
Option "TVStandard" "NTSC-M"
Option "TVOutFormat" "COMPOSITE"
Option "RenderAccel" "1"
Option "TVOverScan" "0.6"
Any Ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
Markus

# To disable the XKEYBOARD extension, uncomment XkbDisable.
# Option "XkbDisable"
# To customise the XKB settings to suit your keyboard, modify the
# lines below (which are the defaults). For example, for a non-U.S.
# keyboard, you will probably want to use:
# Option "XkbModel" "pc102"
# If you have a US Microsoft Natural keyboard, you can use:
# Option "XkbModel" "microsoft"
#
# Then to change the language, change the Layout setting.
# For example, a german layout can be obtained with:
# Option "XkbLayout" "de"
# or:
# Option "XkbLayout" "de"
# Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"
#
# If you'd like to switch the positions of your capslock and
# control keys, use:
# Option "XkbOptions" "ctrl:swapcaps"
# Or if you just want both to be control, use:
# Option "XkbOptions" "ctrl:nocaps"
