I have a PVR-250 capturing from analog input. The machine is a Athlon
XP 2800+ (1.8GHz) with 256MB RAM and 160GB ATA/133 HDD.

Could hitting swap hard cause this, perhaps because the swap use meant
the machine couldn't keep up with the input?
