[mythtv-users] Quality of recordings degraded

Do yourself a favour and get an SSH server up and running! This way you can 
do all the administration from your desktop over the network. You can even 
install an X server on windows (http://x.cygwin.com) so you can run GUI 
programs on your windows desktop.
