I use an Epia MII system with 1.2 GHz Nehemia with debian unstable.

Try using the epia kernel patch (http://www.epiawiki.org/wiki/tiki-index.php)
with a current xfree86 version (http://www.xfree86.org) and the unichrome
cle266 driver (http://unichrome.sourceforge.net). I have a 2.4.26-epia2
kernel running under xfree86 4.4.0. That works fine. Currently I'm trying to
get the onboard mpeg decoder to work. No experience with this so far.
