Thanks but my tv has a 4:3 format.

What are the modlines for the ratio?

I found this posting somewhere, unfortunately, I don't have the source anymore, as I just forwarded it to my home email account (cut/paste), so I apologise for not giving proper thanks...

These settings are working great on my Toshba 57H83, hope it helps you.

Here are the final T&R for my Toshiba. The first is for 1280x720p, the second for 1920x1080i. These give me about 1% overscan on all sides on my TV.

Hi all,

I am in the progress of moving my Magnificent Myth box from the Den to the Family Room. I purchased a Audio Authority 9A60 as recommended by Jarod following the HowTo (http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/mythhd.php). He recommended checking following the instructions on http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33207 but I am running in to problems.

When I try to load a "User Defined" driver in Powerstrip 3.5, I get a dialogue box stating that the driver accepted it but when I try to use it my screen goes black for 10 seconds then it falls back to the original resolution. Could my monitor not support the resolution? How should I proceed?

The relevant equipment is as follows:
AMD 2800+
On board Nvidia GeForce4 MX
Viewsonic PS790 Monitor
Toshiba 55HX70 Cinema Series

As a side note it anyone has the same TV and had a XF86Conifig already, words could not express how awesome that would be!!!

Sincerely,
Vince
