[mythtv-users] OT: startup issues

So last night I tried hooking my working frontend up
in my AV rack and ran in to a major problem.

I was follow jarrod's guide about automatic startup. 
So i typed "ln -s /usr/bin/mythfrontend
~/.kde/Autostart/mythfrontend" and now everytime my
system starts up it gets stuck on Autostart.  I even
removed that link and it still gets stuck.  I can't
run anything locally although i can ssh into it.  Any Suggestions?
