So here's an updated version atttached which almost works.  I've added 
the test for before 6am but it doesn't seem to add the day onto the date.

You didn't say which processor you were using.  I tried a few but 
xsltproc seems to be the one which works without modifying the source.

The input document still looks like this.  Need to knock up another 
noddy stylesheet to generate it automatically.  And a script to get the 
files off bleb etc.  Tomorrow maybe, if I can divert the wife and kids.
