[mythtv-users] tv_grab_uk_rt

Ok, I have managed to get quite a few channels working now by editing my
channels database to match the config files.  I have got xmltv 0.5.27
running which I updated using apt-get.  My mythtv box is a KnoppMyth
install.

I looked through the stuff on the xmltv & sourceforge pages and I think I
need the updated _rt grabber.  I get errors when I try to join the xmltv
mailing list, (I keep getting mail server errors back).

I'm not sure how to install the patches or the CVS version ?  Can you post
the required commands please ?

Not really - you could try running:
  tv_grab_uk_rt --days 1 > output.xml

then look through the output.xml file to see if the data is actually in
there.... It's definately working for me though.  (also check there aren't
any errors thrown up).  I'm running the cvs version with the "radio
listings" patch (from sourceforge).  I tried the "radio listings
(revised)" patch, but that bombed out after a parse error.
