Sorry, I thought you said you'd looked and didn't find it in gdmsetup for some 
reason. Yes, the timed login is nice. I have it set on both my dedicated 
MythTV boxes.

I lucked out. Just started playing with controlling my DCT-20000-series cable 
box this weekend. I've got the minimal firmware version required, and the 
serial port is enabled. Only 15 minutes of work, and I'm controlling the 
cable box from MythTV. ;-)
