I actually tried dd'ing the mpeg2-ts stream to /dev/video16. Just a line of
garbage at the top of the screen and no sound. An mpeg2-ps stream went
through just fine.

I'll give DVD-special 2 a try tonight and see how that works out.

Is there a description anywhere of what all the format types are? Some are
relatively simple to figure out, but others aren't so clear. It seems like
there's one video format for every person that's been served at McDonald's.
:)

Thanks,
J
