You probably might have to link the correct /etc/localtime, depending on
your geographic location.
rm /etc/localtime && ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Berlin /etc/localtime
There was some other stuff i've done, like modifying the XF86Config-4 to
load the correct keymap for Germany, setting the correct nameservers in
/etc/resolv.conf, etc. I bet there are other things I've done and forgot
right now. Maybe I'll remember later.
