With digital what?
Video signal out of DirecTV receivers is analog for most receivers along
with basic cable.
The card converts analog signal to digital for your computer to process.
I have used both pvr 250 and TV go card... and could not use a non pvr
card because the cpu usage was to high.  The pvr makes a huge
difference.  It also matters if the computer can change the channel of
your DirecTV receiver. I.e. older RCA receiver.
