What do you mean by MPEG4? Do you mean (1) a Myth .nuv file using an
internal MPEG-4 video codec, or (2) a Divx/Xvid .avi file?

If (1), then under Setup->TV Settings->Recording Profiles, you need to
set up a recording profile in the Transcode group using the MPEG-4
parameters that you would like your RTjpeg recordings converted to.
Then, to transcode a program, either enable the 'Auto-Transcode' option
in the profile that it will be recorded under, or for
previously-recorded show, press 'X' while watching it. The end result
will still be a Myth .nuv file, but it will be much smaller than the
RTjpeg version.

If (2), then use the nuvexport Perl program to convert to Divx (.avi
format).
