Hello,

I finally replaced my KM266 motherboard (Shuttle XPC SK41G) with an
nforce2 Ultra 400 chipset and the DMA-related issues (ivtv hangs,
mythbackend/mythfrontend segmentation faults) have been resolved.
MythTV rocks now!

Here's one little snippet of information that may/may not be helpful to
those trying to use the PVR-250 remote. irxvent would not build from
lirc-0.7.0pre2...turns out I was missing some X Windows headers which
was contained in the xlibs-dev Debian package (not sure of the RPM
equivalent).

Thanks to the MythTV developers and all who contribute to this project.

Oh...here's my specs:

Shuttle XPC S45G (using ALSA 1.01 for intel8x0)
PVR-250 (using latest cvs ivtv... 1.9 I believe)
GeForce 4 MMX 64MB 8x AGP (.4363 Nvidia drivers)
Debian Sarge w/ 2.4.24 (Local APIC disabled)
Debian MythTV 0.13 pre-built packages

-Chris.
