No, they are not setup.

But what does happen, is if I schedule the recordings and look at the status
at http://ipofmybackend:6544 The recordings show as pending and then
disappear after they should have begun, and the recording does not occur.

Just a thought, you don't happen to have pre/post roll times defined do you?
