Yes it is, it worked for me. I installed the debian MythTV packages on my
laptop a few days ago, and I have no TV tuner connected to it. The main
interface worked, so did most of the modules.

I was just curious to see MythTV in action, since I'm gonna build a
dedicated MythTV machine after my next paycheck...
