that's indeed the order..

To get the channels in the right order you can use either phpmyadmin or mythtv-web .. you'll have to change the channelsettings and modify the "channum" column. Just fill the database once then modify the numbers, then they'll be fine forever.

And if you wish not to have just the channel information, but also the descriptions for everyprogram you'll have to fetch the channels differently like:

/usr/bin/tv_grab_nl --slow --output ~/.xmltv/tmp.xml
/usr/bin/mythfilldatabase --file 1 -1 ~/.xmltv/tmp.xml

--slow will fetch all the comments etc :)

With the new version of xmltv 0.5.27 you'll be able to fetch more then the 8 standard channels. I believe Ed has hardcoded all the tvgids.nl channels in right now.
