[mythtv-users] Via users question - recordings resolution

Using a M1000 here.  I changed the default profile to record at 720x480 (from 480x480).  I don't notice a quality upgrade anyway, but since the change I'm getting way more prebuffering pauses.  
Any via users (or anyone else for that matter) have recording set at 720 and getting good results?
