[mythtv-users] transcode existing recordings

Hi

How do I transcode existing recordings (MPEG-2recorded with PVR-250 ) to 
MPEG-4 format?
And if I do, (using mythtv/nuvexportI assume), will they still be listed as 
.nuv files?
And will they still be listed in mythtv under tv->recordings?
