[mythtv-users] mythtranscode options

James,

I believe your looking for mtd (works with DVD's) as opposed to the TV
transcode daemon that is automaticly called by mythbackend. Anyway, open
up a command prompt and type 'mtd -d' and then switch back to mythfrontend
and try ripping a dvd. This will solve your problem.
