[mythtv-users] PVR-250 MPEG1 or am I missing something?

When I watch live TV or record a show and view what mplayer is outputting,
it says mpeg1 video stream.  I thought my PVR-250 was supposed to output
MPEG2?  Or am I just missing something obvious?

Most annoying esp since I got my Radeon 8500 128mb card to use its videoout
finally.  Though the output doesn't seem to be perfect. The pic doesn't fill
the full screen totally.
