Myth Version: 0.11
Linux Flavor: Gentoo 1.4
Kernel: 2.4.22-aa1
About a week ago, I registered my machine in DNS so that I could access it
remotely. This however, required me to change the hostname on the local
machine.
Once I changed the hostname & rebooted, I broke mythtv. Now, I could've
just re-ran the setup program, but (stupid me), I was curious why a
hostname change (not an ip change) would break myth.
Upon investigation, I discovered that in the mythconverg DB, the settings
table had statically stored my hostname. So, I ran a quick SQL update
command, and appeared to fix mythtv. A reboot brought the system back up,
and I was able to watch my recordings, and use the various myth modules.
But now, I've run into a new problem. When I schedule a program to be
recorded, myth doesn't record the program, and claims that I have 0 MB
free, when in fact I have 80GB free. I can't seem to figure out why it's
causing this problem.
My only link is that the last change I did to the system as a whole was
changing the hostname. Does anybody have any idea what is going on?
Below is the actual error message from the logfile:
