Excited about the fix!!!

I have been using knoppMyth for the last couple of months (release .12).
I am new to Linux as well as myth.

Do I have to download the software from CVS and compile or can I apply a
patch to the software I already have installed on my mythbox?

If I need to download the source from the CVS and compile please be specific
to what I need to download and compile.
