Morning Ope,

I've a GeForce4 MX440 the nvtv freeware was the first thing I tried as I
was hoping for a seperate framebuffer/display for the tv-out (TwinView
adds the tv onto the current X11 screen). I couldn't get it to work as
nvtv doen't support my chipset. The FAQ tells me that some MX440 have
another chip which is supported but that's not much help to me.

So in otherwords your milage may vary..

On the flip side I found the nVidia driver easy to install and
use..although I've had no joy with the latest driver (rev 5328) but the
one before that the 4496 works brillantly..

Regards
Simon
