[mythtv-users] New mythtv installation, noob :)

Hi!

I started reading about PVR about 4 days ago, starting with Freevo. 
Then MythTV came to my attention, at it looks alot easier to configure. 

So - now I have decided to get a Hauppauge PVR-350 and then setup my 
own PVR on an old computer (600MHz Duron). And of course, as I am new 
to this, some questions stops me from going on with this project...


(1) After recording a program from TV - how difficult is it then to 
burn the show to a media playable on a standard DVD player?

(2) What is the status for implementation of the PVR-350? On the front 
page of mythtv.org it says in September, that TV-out is almost 
working...

Well - that will be all for now...
